Millennial Gets Overexcited About Airbnb Slide—It Doesn’t Go as Planned

A video of a man getting stuck on a slide in his Airbnb has gone viral, with internet users finding the mishap hilarious.
The video posted on TikTok by Chloe Adams-Gibbs (@yourbirthbestieco) on September 2 has been viewed over 3 million times. The hilarious clip shows a man attempting to go down a slide inside the property and getting stuck halfway down.
His partner laughs as the man tries to climb back up, to no avail. Amid a fit of giggles, he slowly makes it down the slide while lying on his side.

“Definitely the hi[gh]light of the baecation,” the TikTok user wrote in the video’s caption.
The woman recording the video can be heard saying she got stuck there, too, as the man fails to reach the bottom of the slide. Amid fits of laughter, she assures her husband, “It’s OK.”

Adams-Gibbs told Newsweek that the video was recorded while staying at the Lunar Dome Treehouse, located just outside of Fredericksburg, Texas. The accommodations included unique features like a suspended treetop outdoor shower, a private hot tub and a charcoal grill.
The man’s unfortunate slide experience amused viewers. TikTok user @ericawiththeemus found the humor in the man’s “immediate panic and backup technique before accepting his fate and sliding down.”

TikToker Serene Jayne said, “Stoppp that’s why I don’t like these type of slides, I’m scared I’ll get stuck.”
Another user, Sammy Turk, said, “If you got stuck there too why didn’t you warn him?!”
Adams-Gibbs replied, “He said he didn’t understand the gravity of my warning lmao.”
TikToker Sammy joked, “Husbands never listen to their better half!” while another quipped, “It was gravity that was needed.”
“I feel like this is a wonderful metaphor for being in the over 30s hang,” said Jenbeez.
